Eric is married to Sean. They met as teenagers and have built a life of fun and adventure over the past 30 years. Here they are hiking close to there home in Columbus, Ohio. They enjoy time with their St. Bernards Abbey & Oscar, hiking, biking, gardening, cooking, eating out, and craft cocktails.
Eric always wanted to row but didn't take it up until a few years ago. Here you see him in the second seat in his first competitive race. "It was amazing to learn something new in mid-life." Incidentally, "Crew" is also the name of his favorite professional sports team, the Columbus Crew of Major League Soccer (MLS).
Eric wasn't much of an athlete growing up. His family was poor and lived with significant food insecurity much of his life, contributing to poor eating habits, unhealthy weight, and bullying. Here Eric triumphs crossing the finish line of one of the full marathons he's completed in the past several years. "I cry tears of gratitude at mile 23 every time!"
One place you can catch Eric & Sean in whatever city they are visiting will be at that city's great restaurants. Always up for a food adventure they will find the hottest as well as the most obscure places. Most recent opportunities have brought them to enjoy new Nordic cuisine!
Our two St. Bernards, Oscar and Abbey fill our lives with joy! They destroy our yard, pull pillows apart, and shred newspapers but they give us so much love and many laughs. Littermates, they have never been separated. They protect us and teach us to love everyday.
Growing up in Pittsburgh, Eric and Sean are big sports fans. Though they will always be Pittsburgh Steelers fans, they have come to enjoy professional soccer very much. Here you see them at the USA vs. Mexico game that helped the US qualify for the 2022 World Cup.
We love to travel. Here we are moments after arriving in Hawaii for the last APA Convention held there. It was a trip of a lifetime and it sparked a motivation for us to travel as much as we could. We savor every opportunity we can to explore new places.
